05. Proofs for Existence of God from Quran
How do we know there’s a Rabb? Thousands of theories and maxims revolve around this. But, Quran mentions only a few verses on this. But, Quranic evidences are powerful but simple to understand, unlike the complicated/intricate philosophies
#1: The fact that there’s a creation indicate there’s a creator. Every object must have been made, created, developed by something. Where did you come from?
(Quran Surah 52. Ath Thuur ayat 35)
Were they created by nothing, or were they themselves the creators?
(Quran Surah 31. Luqman ayat 11)
This is the creation of Allâh. So show me that which those (whom you worship), besides Him have created…
(Quran Surah 22. Al Hajj ayat 73)
O mankind! A similitude has been coined, so listen to it (carefully): Verily! those on whom You call besides Allâh, cannot create (even) a fly, even though they combine together for the purpose. And if the fly snatched away a thing from them, they would have no power to release it from the fly. So weak are (both) the seeker and the sought
(Quran Surah 67. Al Mulk ayat 2-3) –> Try to find a slight flaw in the heavens
2. Who has created death and life, that He may test you which of you is best In deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving;
3. Who has created the seven heavens one above another, you can see no fault in the creations of the Most Beneficent. Then look again: “Can you see any rifts?”
#2: Signs of creation. Certain aspects / creations are more majestic or more powerful. You feel small compared to them
(Quran Surah 2. Al Baqarah ayat 164)
Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and In the alternation of night and day, and the ships which sail through the sea with that which is of use to mankind, and the water (rain) which Allâh sends down from the sky and makes the earth alive therewith after its death, and the moving (living) creatures of All kinds that He has scattered therein, and In the veering of winds and clouds which are held between the sky and the earth, are indeed Ayât (proofs, evidences, signs, etc.) for people of understanding
#3: Innate human nature. Everybody, deep inside, knows stealing is bad, be good to parents, and there’s a God. Prophet was on Fitraa until he became a prophet @ age 40
(Quran Surah 7. Al A’raaf ayat 172)
And (remember) when Your Lord brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their loins, their seed (or from Adam’s loin his offspring) and made them testify as to themselves (saying): “Am I not Your Lord?” they said: “Yes! We testify,” lest you should Say on the Day of Resurrection: “Verily, we have been unaware of this.”
Even atheist cry out God in dire situations
(Quran Surah 10. Yunus ayat 12)
And when harm touches man, He invokes us, lying down on his side, or sitting or standing. but when we have removed his harm from him, he passes on his Way as if He had never invoked us for a harm that touched him!…
#4: Prophets came with perfect books and miracles from God. Try to create a chapter like that in Quran
